The Fountain of Youth [Quest Topic]

Why did Damian attract all the crazy NPCs? He rolled his eyes as another "scientist" approached him with wide eyes and clutched his shirt. After Damian pushed him off, he finally explained that he believes that the Fountain of Youth is in the newly added Pools of the Valley area. In order to get the crackpot to leave him alone, Damian agreed to search for it. But he didn't want to do it alone, so he opened his Interface and tapped the message icon and typed in the names Mason Stein and Serina Althaus. He typed out a message, asking them to meet him at the entrance to the new area in an hour or so. Hopefully neither of them were too far away.

It didn't take Mason long to get to the place Damian said to meet up. "What do you want?" Mason asked, his tone portraying he wasn't in the best mood now. He was stuck staying awake for the longest time because that person he meet a the waterfall was on his mind. He was trying to figure out who they reminded him of in his past so he didn't really get any sleep. He didn't even know if they needed sleep, it just pissed him ff to know he didn't get enough.

Serina dawdled a tiny bit as she thought about whether she really wanted to be involved with whatever Damian had planned. What if suicidal crazy guy was there too? But she wasn't getting very far alone, and there was safety in numbers... It was all a tiresome weigh up, but eventually she saw the merits of going along with someone that actually knew what they were doing. So she ended up by the entrance of the town, peaking around the corner to check if Midori or whatever was there before slinking over when she only saw Damian and some other stranger. "You called?"

"You two are the only two completely sane people that I know here. And, seeing as how I tend to attract the crazies, I figure I might balance out that luck with you," he explained. "Anyways, this crackpot approached me about finding the Fountain of Youth hidden somewhere in the Pools of the Valley. I figured, since I know you two better than anyone, I'd see if you wanted to join me." He shrugged. To be completely honest, he wanted at least one person to do something with. He was bored out of his God damn mind and didn't have anyone to talk to. He was going as insane as the NPCs that approach him.

Mason shrugged. "As long as I'm getting paid for it, I will go." The boy replied. If he wasn't going to get paid for it, there was no way in hell he was going to waste his time on pointless shit like this. He had a boss battle to prepare for. Pale green eyes looked over to the girl that had joined him. He was slightly interested in who she was but at the same time didn't care enough to ask.

"Not like I have something better to do." Serina spoke casually, as if she would have left if there was some better offer, but really, she was all alone here. Deep, deep down she was kind of glad that she'd met Damian, or she would have been forever wandering this town and spending her days in the little abode that was given to all players. "Do we get paid for this?"

She hoped that they got paid something, her funds weren't exactly overflowing right now. Also if she was risking her neck, she wanted something tangible in return.

Damian shrugged, their responses were better than he expected. "Well, this place isn't the largest, so finding it shouldn't be very hard. But the hard part is going to be figuring out which one is the real one. They all look the same," he said, cursing himself. He hated the fact that he had been raised to be polite to those he didn't know. He took a deep breath. At least this quest wasn't as dangerous as the last one. He clapped his hands together.
