Notes of a Prison [closed]

Wolfgang nodded wordlessly, letting her grab his hand, walking through the hallways once more. Past the room they laid in, the stairwell. "It's been nice exploring this with you," he said, scratching the back of his neck, diverting his eyes to the ceiling, the passerby NPCs. He was going to say more, maybe 'Let's do it again sometime' or whatnot, but the words caught, anchoring themselves down his throat. Maybe he was getting ahead of himself. He only really met her today.

"Let's do this again sometime."

Oh, nevermind.

Once they reached the stairwell, Mackenzie had to blink out of her little daze. She had been so focused on her internal thoughts she hadn't even noticed how far she moved. A smile graced her lips as she nodded her head in agreement, letting her hand and arm drop away from his grasp. "Sure, I'll see you around?" Her question was more on the rhetorical side. Unless she somehow managed to die three times within the next day, she would more likely than not see him again.

Mackenzie offered him a wave, grin, and then she spun on her heels to exit the castle and go back to the rest of Aubade.
